4. Applications
Trimellitic Acid is mainly used for:
Production of high-performance polyimide and polyamide-imide resins for aerospace and electronic materials
Synthesis of special polyester and alkyd resins for high-temperature resistant coatings
Preparation of plasticizers, epoxy curing agents, and aqueous polymer modifiers
Pharmaceutical intermediates and chelating agents in chemical processes
5. Packaging and Storage
Packaging: 25 kg paper-plastic composite bag, 500 kg PP bag, 1000 kg PP bag (or as per customer’s requirement)
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from moisture, direct sunlight and incompatible substances (strong bases, oxidizing agents).
Shelf Life: 24 months from the production date under recommended storage conditions.
6. Safety and Handling
Hazard Identification: Irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory system; may cause skin allergic reactions.
Personal Protection: Wear chemical-resistant gloves, goggles and dust mask/respirator during operation.
Leakage Handling: Sweep up spilled material and dispose in sealed containers; avoid dust generation.
Waste Disposal: Dispose in accordance with local, regional and national regulations; do not discharge into water bodies.
