3. Applications

Dimethyl 2,6-Naphthalene Dicarboxylate (NDC) is a difunctional aromatic ester primarily used in the production of specialty polyester polymers. Incorporation of NDC into polyesters improves thermal barrier (both diffusional and UV penetration), mechanical, and weathering properties of fabricated products, including:

• Specialty films
• High performance fibers
• Rigid packaging
• Liquid crystal polymers
• Other engineering resins

4. Packaging & Storage

• Packaging Options:
  • Bulk polypropylene fabric type ‘C’ bags (700 kg net weight, 2 bags per pallet, 1400 kg per pallet).
  • Polyethylene-lined fiber drums (125 kg net weight, 4 drums per pallet, 500 kg per pallet).
• Storage & Handling: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Protect from moisture and contaminants. Proper grounding is required during unloading of bulk bags.
